1. How do I get a quote?
Please send us the available digital files, documentation e.g. BOM (Bill Of Materials), schematics and any other specifications by email. It would be very useful if you could provide us with physical samples. Also, please include the total number of units required.
2. What is the purchasing process like at Emin?
After you send your gerber file and BOM to us, we will offer you a quote after we have reviewed your files. Our quote will contain the items and quantities that you need as well as the lead time, unit price, total amount and our payment terms.
If you accept our quote, a formal purchase order will be sent and signed before we start your job. If it is not convenient for you to provide us with the purchase order, we can send you an invoice via Paypal to confirm, then start your job right after we have received the notification of the amount received from Paypal. Before sending us your purchase order, please make sure that you have specified your item, quantity, lead time, unit price and total amount to be paid, as well as payment terms, as we need to verify that your purchase order conforms to our quote. After the purchase order is confirmed to match the quote, the purchasing process will be complete and your products will be processed.
3. What payment methods does Emin offer?
We accept wire transfers for transactions. As wire transfers are not cost effective for small transactions, credit cards and PayPal can be accepted. We accept VISA, MasterCard and JCB cards. Some customers prefer not to reveal their credit card information. If this is the case, we recommend that you use PayPal, as our invoice will be processed through PayPal and paid by the customer using their credit cards. Please note that PayPal charges a 6.9% handling fee for international transfers. The handling fee will be included in our invoice total.
4. What is your shipping method and how long will the shipping take?
Emin has been using several world famous shipping companies such as UPS, FedEx and DHL. They all have air and sea transportation for us to choose from. We are not limited to using any particular shipping company or transportation method. As an option, we may work with you to ensure the most cost effective method given the requirements of your shipping schedule.
The fastest shipping available is overnight flight by UPS, FedEx or DHL shipped from Taiwan. Delivery times and shipping costs will vary depending on the country or region of destination. Shipments will be delivered to you based on the fastest delivery and or lowest price available.
5. Is shipping included in your quote?
Emin commonly does not include shipping in our quotes, unless you have specified it in your inquiry. However, we can include shipping costs if requested. An advantage to having Emin negotiate shipments is that we get discounts from the shipping companies that we work with. We will follow your instructions regarding shipping costs, methods and timetables. Customers can take advantage of our shipping discounts, or use their shipping account as desired.
